New Releases for the Week of 6-24-2015

More DC Divergence and Secret Wars titles this week, and a really cool indie graphic novel as well!

Here’s the featured new releases coming out this Wednesday, June 24th 2015.

Secret Wars

Marvel takes us back into the past this week, starting with X-men 92 #1!

X-men 92 1We’re not sure what’s going to happen to the X-men titles after Secret Wars (and we get asked a lot) but for now we’re getting a flashback to 1992, when everyone was reading comic books and X-Men #1 set the world record at around 8 millions copies.

Next is a merger of two properties, with Age of Ultron Vs Marvel Zombies #1.

Age of Ultron Vs Mavel ZombiesInvestigate the most dangerous area of Battleworld, where killer robots merge with wild zombies! By James Robinson.

Also new this week is Korvac Saga #1.

Korvac Saga 1Springing out of the classic Avengers story line and featuring the original Guardians of the Galaxy.

We’ve also got second issues of Infinity Gauntlet, Planet Hulk, MODOK Assassin, Where Monsters Dwell and the first issue of E is for Extinction.

Divergence

This is DC’s final week of kick off Divergence series, and they’ve saved some of the best for last.

Superman kicks of a new direction with TRUTH part one by John Romita Jr and Gene Luen Yang in issue #41 of Superman

Superman 41Flash reintroduces villain favorite Professor Zoom in Flash #41.

Flash 41Not one Robin, but 100’s in the new We Are Robin #1 by Lee Berjemo.

We Are Robin 1Just as in weeks before, we’ll have some great give-a-ways for anyone buying any DC books this week, like this Batgirl paper mask.

Batgirl MaskOther freebies including a Black Canary Poster, Grayson Spyral ID Card, Prez Bumper Sticker, Superman Daily Planet Replica, and We Are Robin Temporary Tattoos.

Wytches

Finally, Scott Snyder and Jock’s new series Wytches finally comes out in a graphic novel for only $9.99!

Wytches Volume one“When the Rooks family moves to the remote town of Litchfield, NH to escape a haunting trauma, they’re hopeful about starting over. But something evil is waiting for them in the woods just beyond town. Watching from the trees. Ancient…and hungry. “

The first six issues from Image Comics collected together. Very high recommendation as Snyder’s run on Batman and his work on The Wake are some of our best selling graphic novels!
