Father’s Day at CNJComics

On Sunday June 17th we’ll be celebrating Father’s Day with some free giveaways for dad’s and their little buddies!

More than anything, dad’s just want to spend time with their kids on Father’s Day. After that, they want comic books.

In all seriousness, I’m so grateful to be sharing any part of my hobby with my daughters that when Marvel came up with a promotion for Father’s Day, I knew we had to join in.

We’ll have two coloring posters we’ll be giving away all day long.

Marvel is pushing their “Marvel Super Hero Adventures” books for Father – Son’s and their “Marvel Rising” project for Father – Daughter’s. We could care less about the gender designation, the heart wants what the heart wants so just ask for one and we’ll give it to you. (If you want to stop in early to pick one up to have it fully colored for dad on Sunday just stop by and ask.)

They are also giving away double sided bookmarks which cover both properties.

While we appreciate Marvel’s efforts, we wanted to add a little extra, so we’ve sweetened it up with this book, The Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars Facsimile Edition Coloring Book!

This $24.99 book is actually a reproduction of six Marvel Coloring Books from the 80’s in one volume, complete with posters, stickers and stamps! It’s awesome and will really hit that Nostalgia mark for old dad. (If he’s my age at least.)

We’ll be giving this book away for FREE all day Sunday to any dad who comes in with their kid!

Yes, Father figures who bring in a kid count as well. This is the world of comic books. We can’t forget all the Uncle Bens out there.

We’ll stock up on the two Marvel Superhero Adventures One Shots that have come out, in case dad want’s to get the kids something.

We’ll also have free copies of Marvel Rising #0 to give away as well!

So take dad out to the comic book shop for Father’s Day! I’m sure he’d love to sit down at the kids table and quiz you on all the characters there to reinforce what a great job’s he’s been doing raising you.

Happy Father’s Day to all my dad’s out there!
