Wow. Amazing Spider-Man #700 was literally amazing! Like it or hate it the book sold 250,000 copies nation wide and nearly doubled the regular amount of copies we sell in the shop! NOW it’s time for the Superior Spider-Man #1 on 1/9/2013!

They are an old school ticket finding agency in the Cleveland area and I would never have been able to get the tickets I did without their help. They went above and beyond the call of duty to the point that I felt I needed to give them this recommendation!

Starting at 7pm on Friday (Can you believe we actually still have our Black Friday sale ON Black Friday?!!?) Nov 23rd till Midnight! (We like to give you a chance to shop elsewhere throughout the day then come hang out with us in the evening for the stuff you’re really looking for!)

It’s funny how comics unite us…

Today I called someone to have my air conditioning serviced as there was an issue where the house simply is not cooling down enough.. anyone in Cleveland area of late can likely understand this all too well.  Anyway, as we’re talking he mentions the person he works for a lot who is the brother-in-law of My friend and co-worker… said individual owns a restaurant in Cleveland on 40th.  I tell him I am not familiar with it and he relates that the restaurant scenes in American Splendor were filmed there.  I smile and nod and relate that the comic shop scenes were filmed with our own Carol and John’s.

He laughed and began talking about Free Comic Book Day and the lines down the way, how he doesn’t attend too often but he has a few comics he cherishes such as Felix # 1.  It was a pleasant conversation about a medium of entertainment that we, two people with otherwise nothing in common, shared.

It’s just funny how things come about
