Hey Comic Shop Friends! We’re still working through those new collections and adding new back issue boxes. You may have seen our Facebook post about adding another box of Spawn, and you may have noticed stacks of various books on the table. Every day I come in, there’s something new on the wall! We’re also gearing up for a couple of sale events this month! This Thursday the 18th is Late Nite Comics! We’ll be open until midnight, and John has said that this is the Late Nite you do not want to miss! There are lots and lots of new Small Press and Independent dollar books coming out, most pre-90s! We’ll also have 50% off back issues! Yes, that includes the wall! Who needs the crowds at Comic-Con when you can stop in your local comic shop for an awesome sale?!? Starting Thursday, July 25th and running through Sunday the 28th, we’ll have our Not at Comic Con Sale! The foyer will be full of dollar books! 50% off all back issues, including the wall! Hi Comic Shop Friends! Welcome to another wonderful week of comics! To celebrate the filming of Superman here in Cleveland, we’re giving out free Superman comics! Two per person and there are some free prints of the “Superman’s Cleveland” map so you can check out the real-life locations around town. Thursday the 18th is Late Nite Comics! This is one you do not want to miss, especially if you’re looking for Small Press and Independent books! We’ll be filling the table with long boxes of Small Press dollar issues, mostly pre-1990s, and I’ve heard there are some good books in there. And 50% off back issues! Yes, even the wall! Hi there, Comic Shop Friends! First, we’ll be closed this Thursday the 4th for the holiday, so get your books on Wednesday so you have something to read while you’re waiting on the grill. Second, Monday, July 8th Ben will be co-hosting the Midnight Rental Secret Screening at the Grog Shop! Yes, it’s on a Monday this month! Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm, only $10! Third, Thursday, July 18th is Late Nite Comics! 8pm to midnight! Featuring all new Small Press/Independent dollar stock! John says there will be some incredible books in there, so be there! Fourth, John is still working through those new collections, and just bought another 50+ long box one this past weekend!
