Happy April Fool\u2019s Day, Comic Shop Friends! We were going to prank you and say there weren\u2019t any new comics, but we couldn\u2019t because there are some fun books you need to read this week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Friday, the 3rd, at 6pm, we\u2019ll be at the Cleveland Museum of Art for this month\u2019s MIX event, Man of Steel, celebrating Superman! We\u2019ll have a photo booth set up, and we\u2019ll be giving away comics, so come check it out! We\u2019re a month away from Free Comic Book Day! Hooray! Saturday, May 2nd! It\u2019s our favorite day of the year, because we love spreading the comic book love by giving you free comics!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Michelinie will be here this year for a free signing from 10am to 6pm too! You can get one item signed for free, and any more after that are $10 each, and that will go to Purring Pals, his local cat rescue!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Posters just came in, and you can pick up one free! The price of printing the posters has doubled in the last couple of years, and we want to have them on FCBD, so we are limiting them to one per person. Thanks for understanding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Randolph Chancellor was Simon\u2019s cellmate and introduction to acting, but they aren\u2019t currently on the best of terms. When the studio asks Simon to look into Randolph\u2019s problem, a problem involving 13 million missing dollars, they\u2019re going to have to work together once again. Gerry Duggan and Mark Buckingham do a great job of presenting the current Wonder Man in a new adventure, while referencing all the strange happenings from his past. He\u2019s got a lot of history, and some of it is coming back, like Patsy Walker, Killerwatt, and his former agents. Like the song says, \u201cSend lawyers, guns, and money— the #$%&\u2019s hit the fan!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, are you all excited that we\u2019re going to get a second season of the Wonder Man tv show? I thought it was wonderful, no pun intended, and would love to see more of that Simon and Trevor friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n
