Stopping a cult\u2019s human sacrifices may be more like what they\u2019re becoming used to, but after Bruce Wayne and his date are mugged by a street gang, things are shaking up! When a gang of kids can almost take down the Dark Knight, the Dynamic Duo will have to find out where they came from and who they\u2019re working for. Time for undercover Robin! A fun read, and I especially enjoyed classic Alfred with a little bit of sass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it starts out like a normal day, we follow Hello Kitty around town and meet her friends, Keroppi, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll, leading up to a big dinner party. She goes on a walk, visits a bakery, and does crafts and cooking. Just like every other normal lovely day. But right as the party is about to start, something goes missing! Now Hello Kitty and her friends will have to find out who did it, but everyone is a suspect! A perfect cozy small town mystery for all ages! Written by Mariko Tamaki, with art by Cody Lemieux.<\/p>\n\n\n

The kids, Liv and Owen, see some neighborhood kids, but they just stare and walk away. The president of the HOA immediately calls them out of the rules of the \u201ccovenants\u201d they aren\u2019t following, and asks oddly personal questions. When Clarie meets another mother who pushes homeschooling the kids like everyone else in Willow Park does, she\u2019s wary. But what she sees one sleepless night is worse than any terrible neighbor they\u2019ve ever had! It\u2019s the Burbs mixed with some Stepford Wives, and a dash of devil worship in Cullen Bunn and Fico Ossio\u2019s new series!<\/p>\n\n\n

If you liked Corpse Knight and Principles of Necromancy, you\u2019ll like Regicide. A farmer is pulled into a quest without knowing anything about it. He\u2019s big, he\u2019s served his village, he\u2019s been brave and now the elders have sent him along with a masked traveler. It seems to be for protection, but the farmer has fought animals, never men. \u201cMankind is the least of our worries,\u201d the stranger states, and the farmer does not know how true those words will be. As they travel, he learns the mission is an assassination, as the man in the mask intends to kill the king. Word travels, and their journey brings them in the path of bandits, witches, and creatures unlike anything the farmer has ever experienced. Patrick Kindlon and Ludovic Lalliat have crafted a story about taking down a tyrant, but not all is as it seems. Make sure to read the two short stories at the end, by Kindlon with Pramono Estu and Matt Battaglia for more of the larger world.
