<\/a>This four issue mini series brings Deadpool and Thanos together in a battle over their ex, lady DEATH herself. Written by Tim Seeley, who’s entertained us in the past with Hack Slash.<\/p>\nThis week’s indie book of the week is Plutona #1 from Image Comics and Jeff Lemire.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Plutona follows the story of five suburban kids who make a shocking discovery while exploring the woods one day after school…the body of the world’s greatest super hero Pluntona, laying dead in the mud and grass. “Plutona will use the super hero genre as an entry point into a dark journey that explores the nature of friendship and good and evil, all through the eyes of four children alone in the woods.” \u00a0Lemire’s last two series, Trillium and Descender, were both critical hits, and his work on Green Arrow and Hawkeye has been fun as well.<\/p>\nFor fans of Mad Max Fury Road, we’re finally getting the graphic novel collecting all the one shots and mini-series we’ve been selling out of.<\/p>\n

<\/a>This collection has prequel stories featuring Max, Furiosa, Immortan Joe and Nux, as well as some material that has only been available digitally up until now. All for only $14.99.<\/p>\nIt’s worth mentioning that some people think these stories ruined the movie<\/a>, but that’s for you to decide.<\/p>\n
The Miracleman reprints have just entered the Neil Gaiman issues, so Marvel has decided to renumber them (go figure) at #1.<\/p>\n
