Marvel is under attack by Kirby’s Monsters from the 1950’s in a five issue mini series along with a modest eight tie in issues. All this takes place over the course of three months and looks like this:

JANUARY

FEBRUARY

MARCH

Each issue of the mini series will feature a different artist, with issue one being done by Steve McNiven from the original Civil War. Other artist include Adam Kubert, Greg Land, Salvador Larroca, and Leinil Yu.

At the least it’s be great to see some of this artist putting there spin on these classic Marvel Monsters. Fin Fang Foom anyone?

The DC Rebirth graphic novels are starting to come out, and you now have a easy way to find out what all the fuss is about without having to track down the issues.

Image had a couple good graphic novels releases this week, with Kill or Be Killed and Goddamned.

Don’t forget to set your recording devices for RIVERDALE next Thursday, 1-28-2017 http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/riverdale-review-964115

And finally, here’s the new Red Band trailer for LOGAN. It is the best. 🙂

DC REBIRTH

This week Flash and Justice League are out. We’ve also got Green Arrow, Aquaman, Batman and Superman in stock as well. Next week will be Green Lanterns and Nightwing.

![""]("http://www.cnjcomics.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Batman-15.jpg")
It’s our best selling book, but I still have to mention how much I’m enjoying Tom King’s Batman. The new Catwoman storyline has given us some peaks into the ‘glitch’ of Rebirth, with Selina remember their first meeting as being from Batman Year One, while Batman is looking all the way back into their Golden Age meeting. The first part even used all the villains from the Batman Lego Movie trailer, including Kite Man, Zebra Man and Condiment Man! Fun stuff.

IMAGE GRAPHIC NOVEL

“The darkly twisted story of a young man forced to kill bad people, and how he struggles to keep his secret as it slowly begins to ruin his life and the lives of his friends and loved ones. Both a thriller and a deconstruction of vigilantism, KILL OR BE KILLED is unlike anything this award-winning team has done before.”

![""]("http://www.cnjcomics.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Goddamned-GN.jpg")
“And the earth was filled with violence.” (Genesis 6:11). It’s 1,655 years after Eden, and life on earth has already gone to hell. The world of man is a place of wanton cruelty and wickedness. Prehistoric monsters and stone-age marauders roam the land. Murder and destruction are the rule of the day. This is life before the Flood. The story of man on the verge of his first apocalypse. Welcome to the world of the Goddamned.
