Just a quick email to let you know what’s going on at the shop as we prepare for Free Comic Book Day 2017.

Here’s a link to our website and all the information.

Expect an email with all the final details on FCBD in just a few days.

FEATURED TITLES

First up, Secret Empire #1 hits the stands, and we see just how far Steve Rogers will go to protect his new regime. For all the flack Marvel has been getting about this storyline, it’s really good. (Everyone here knows it’s just a comic right?) Well, not everyone.

""Be sure to pick up the FCBD Secret Empire Special too, for a pretty big moment!

Since the movie is out this week (just saw it, great film) Guardians of the Galaxy starts their new regular ongoing by taking the team back to basics and the original line up.

""Expect to see other movie characters like the Collector and the Grandmaster, and the Nova Corps.

The Button part three is in Batman #22.

""This has been our best selling storyline of the year so far. If you read Flash #21 then you know who Batman gets a chance to talk to in this issue. Great stuff.

Lastly, remember SwordQuest from Atari in the 80’s? The impossible quest and the unobtainable trophies? The mini comics? Well Dynamite Entertainment made a comic book about that whole culture, and the first issue is only 25 cents!

""Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check out the Swordquest page on Wikipedia, it’s surreal. (Except that I was there, that game was impossible.)

Okay, time for the crew to get back to pepping for FCBD 2017! (They are the best and they specialize in the ridiculous.) That’s from the A-Team movie. 🙂
