Hi Comic Shop Friends! I’m out sick, so since I haven’t gotten to read any new comics for this week, I’ll be using the company’s copy for these books. But first, some shop news!

Ben will be speaking as part of the panel at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s The Art of Collecting on Friday, November 11th, at 6 pm.

“Why do people collect? And what personal value do collections hold? Join CMA Chief Curator Heather Lemonedes Brown (curator of Impressionism to Modernism: The Keithley Collection), comic book collector Benjamin Joines-Mundy (Carol & John’s Comic Book Shop), sneaker collector and authenticator Sadelle Moore (StockX), and music critic and record collector Annie Zaleski (Duran Duran’s Rio) for a conversation about the passion that drives collecting.”

The next Late Nite Comics is Thursday, November 17th, from 8 pm to midnight, and we’ll be bringing out over 60 long boxes of Indie/Small Press comics! But wait, there’s more! One night only, they’ll all be 50 CENTS EACH! No quantity is needed for that discount, and these books will not come out of the vault again for a long time, so get ‘em while you can!

Also, we now have the option to be notified by text when your special or standing order is in! Being notified by text is the fastest way for us to let you know you have new books, so if you’d like to switch over to a text instead of a call, just let us know, and we’ll update your info.

MARVEL COMICS
