New Comic Releases for the Week of 11-26-2014
Thanksgiving is a few days away, our Black Friday Sale is right around the corner, BUT FIRST…we’ve got a new comic Wednesday to get through.
Here’s the featured new releases for the week of November 26th, 2014.
Spider-Verse has been amazing, and this week’s Scarlet Spiders only looks to add to the fun.
This three issue mini series featured “the clones” Kaine, Ben Reilly, and Ultimate Jessica Drew as they fight their way through Spider-Verse.
This week we’ve also got Spider-Man 2099 #6, and a reprint of Edge of Spider Verse #2, featuring the first appearance of Spider-Gwen.
Catching up on Spider-Verse is easy and well worth your wild. Here’s a checklist for you.
As of this week all the books for November have come out. All of them are entertaining too. You can also catch up by reading all five issues of Edge Of Spider-Verse, which are being reprinted regularly. Spider-Man #7 and #8 have some prequel stuff in them too.
Looking to get your kid into comics? We’ve also got Ultimate Spider-Man Web Warriors #1, the new all ages Spider-Man title.
DC’s had some success lately with new Batman related titles like Gotham Academy and Arkham Manor. This week we’ve got some crime drama with Gotham By Midnight #1.
Jim Corrigan takes the investigative lead with art by 30 Days Of Night’s Ben Templesmith. Any only $2.99 too.
On major stand out in the small press world this week, with ODYC #1 from Image and Hawkeye’s Matt Fraction.
“An epic 26 centuries in the making: In the aftermath of a galactic war a hundred years long, Odyssia the Clever Champion and her compatriots begin their longest, strangest trip yet: the one home. A gender-bent eye-popping psychedelic science fiction odyssey begins here.”
Looking for a great gift for that little kid in your life? We’ve found away to carry all the DC Comics Board Books, including this highlight, My First Book Of Girl Power.
How cool is that? 🙂 Other books in the line include My First Book of Super Villains, The Superhero Book of Opposites, Super Hero ABC’s, and many more. They’re all $9.99 and pretty sturdy too. Big thumbs up.
On a personal note, enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family and friends this year. I have to work a 24 shift at the fire station, which is kind of a drag. We don’t have our Black Friday Sale until 7pm on Friday, so we are in no way infringing on your time together. We are thankful each year for your business at our table, so again from me personally, Thank You.
The Black Friday Sale has come together well, and everything is moving into place. Little elves are working day and night to make sure there’s as many new back issues in those 50% off bins as possible. The full information is here!
It also got picked out nationally by Bleeding Cool as one of the Top Black Friday events in the country. Go Cleveland.
Be sure to get your lists together for the sale and we’ll see you at the comic book shop!
