Free Avengers Magazine and New Releases
It’s week three for DC Convergence, we’ve got some Avengers Magazines to give away, a chance to win VIP status at Free Comic Book Day and some excellent new trailers to share with you.
Here’s the featured new releases coming out Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015.
Convergence
This week DC Convergence brings us ten more titles, this time set in the DC Universe pre Crisis on Infinite Earths (1985). Centered on Earth One, these titles are all set in the time period when I first started collecting comic books, so the nostalgia factor is high.
Adventures of Superman #1: Superman, Supergirl and her headband by the guy who wrote Crisis himself, Marv Wolfman.
Batman and the Outsiders #1: One of the greatest teams of the 1980’s.
The Flash #1: Classic Flash Barry Allen before his death in Crisis.
Green Lantern Corps #1: The big three of Hal, John and Guy.
Hawkman #1: One of the most exciting projects, with art by Hawkworld artist Tim Truman.
Justice League America #1: Aquman’s team of misfits operating out of Detroit.
New Teen Titans #1: The book that gave us the legendary characters of Cyborg, Starfire and Raven, along with Nightwing’s disco outfit.
Superboy and the Legion of Superheroes #1: Set during the classic Giffen days.
Swamp Things #1: Written by Swamp Thing’s creator Len Wein, and drawn by the guy who can best emulate Berni Wrightson, Kelly Jones.
Wonder Woman #1: Dianna Prince’s white jumpsuit era, with art by Josh Middleton.

Hot on the heels of a new trailer, Stars Wars #4 hits the streets this week.
There’s no better way to get ready for the new Star Wars movie this Christmas then to hop on board one of the new comic books. Here’s a peek at the aforementioned trailer in case you missed it.
