Star Wars Christmas Party and Art Show
It’s time to release the information on this year’s Customers Appreciation Christmas Party and Charity Art Show.
Our Christmas Party is our way of giving back to you, the people who have kept us in business for another year. The party is on Saturday December 19th from 8pm to 11pm and will have a Star Wars theme throughout this year.
We have also turned this into a way to raise funds for the Cleveland Food Bank by hosting an art show with local artists doing custom Star Wars comic book covers. This show is done in conjunction with Pop the Comic Culture Club, and we really pull out all the stops to say thank you to everyone.
THE ART SHOW:
All day on the 19th we’ll have the custom Star Wars comic book covers displayed. These covers can be won through a basket raffle system where you can get tickets by donating food items or money. One food item, one ticket. One dollar, one ticket. All of this money goes to the Cleveland Food Bank. Winners will be drawn live at the party at 10:30pm You do not have to be present to win.

THE DAY:

First is our custom Star Wars Christmas Lithograph designed by Jameson Campbell and inspired by the 1978 artwork of Dave Cockrum. 11X17 on card stock paper and free with any purchase. Also free with a purchase will be a Star Wars sampler comic, giving you previews of all the Star Wars Comics that are currently being published. As of this year, Disney owns both Marvel and Lucasfilm, and this association has helped to produce some of the best Star Wars comics ever. You can get a look at all of them in this book.
We’ll also be having a sale all day long, including:

THE PARTY:
All are welcome to our Christmas Party! As our first thank you, please print this out and save 40% on any one item in the shop.
Coupon MUST be used between 8pm and 11pm, limit one per person please.
In additional to an over-all Star Wars theme, we’ve have a new pop up bar this year, ECHO BASE. (We thought about “The Cantina” but it seemed intellectually lazy. Also, it’s Cleveland and cold out)
We’ll be serving up FREE beer, wine and other refreshments including two exclusive beers crafted by the CNJComics Staff, the Wampa Christmas Ale and the Taun-Taun Winter Warmer.
Non alcoholic options will be made available.
We’ll also have snacks to keep your sugar up, including Star Wars chocolates from Fear’s Confections.
Star Wars bakery, cookies and cupcakes will be provided by the Burning River Baking Company.
Carol will be making an appearance as Mrs. Claus, escorted by that lovable holiday scamp, Santa Rick.
We’ll have cool Star Wars photo ops set up around the shop, so be sure to charge your camera phone. Fact: wearing tacky Christmas clothes makes holiday pictures better.
As stated above, winners will be drawn from art show raffle at 10:30pm, and if you’re there you can walk off with your prize that night.
