Happy Christmas in July, Comic Shop Friends! July Santa brought you… a table full of new comics! First, a huge thank you to everyone who came out last Friday and Saturday for Dave Michelinie’s events. Thanks to you we were able to donate $3500 to PurringPals! Dave posted this wonderful message. No big events in August, but our next signing will be September 23rd, with Phillip Kennedy Johnson, writer of the great new Incredible Hulk! Issue #2 is out this week, and we stocked up on issue #1, so make sure you pick one up. Then we have a bunch of awesome things happening in October, and I’m not just talking about Halloween. We know you’re envious.) If you read John’s email last week, you’ll know that we will not have a Late Nite Comics in July, because that third Thursday is the start of our Not-At-Comicon Sale! You don’t have to stay up late to get those dollar books, because the lobby will be full of them all weekend! Back issues, including the wall books, will be 50% off and everything else (Yes everything!) in the store will be 10% off! The sale starts Thursday, July 20th, and runs through Sunday, July 23rd. Hey everyone, John D here! It’s almost time for our yearly “Not-At-Comicon” Sale, and this year we have a special treat! Writer David Michelinie will be joining us on Saturday for a signing! “Not-At-Comicon” is our biggest sale of the year, running from Thursday, July 20th to Sunday, July 23rd! It has two major discounts, 50% off all back issues (including the wall) and 10% off everything else in the shop. (Yes, everything!) We also fill the foyer with dollar stock, so get ready to do some digging. All books in the foyer are $1.00 each! (It’s worth noting that there will be no “Late-Nite Comics” this month. This time it will be a mix of Marvel, DC, and Small Press! And back issues will be 50% off! Including the wall books!
