Hey, Comic Shop Friends! We had a great time with Tony Fleecs and Tone Rodriguez this past Sunday! Thanks to all of you who came out! Here’s what else is happening in the shop in November! Late Nite Comics is coming up on the 21st! We’ll stay open until midnight and pack the shop with dollar stock and 50% off back issues! And for one night only, John is allowing you to film in the shop! Film your dollar diving escapades for your social media channels! We will be closed on Thursday the 28th for Thanksgiving. My plans are to eat too much Tofurky and watch the MST3K Turkey Day Marathon. Rest up on Thursday, so you’re ready for our Black Friday weekend sale! Running Friday the 29th through Sunday December 1st, we’ll have 50% off all back issues, and the foyer will be loaded up with dollar stock, and if you get 100 or more dollar books they’ll be 50 cents each! It’s November Comic Shop Friends! Now that Halloween is over, I’m ready to start thinking about Thanksgiving, how about you? You’re probably wondering what we have coming up this month. Read on! We’re focusing on the Tony Fleecs event first, so more details are forthcoming for the events later this month. Sunday November 10th! 2pm to 5pm! Tony Fleecs and Tone Rodriguez will be here! That’s this coming Sunday, so stop in this week to pick up some Feral, Stray Dogs, Local Man, Uncanny Valley, or Army of Darkness Forever to get signed! We still have the tour exclusive Feral variant as well, $25 and all of that goes to Fleecs in support of the nationwide tour. Happy Halloween Comic Shop Friends! And Happy 34th Anniversary to the shop! To celebrate, we have a brand-new shop T-shirt! Inspired by the Short Box King shirts the staff all have, this new design was created by Jameson Campbell, with the blue and orange colors being the exact official shop colors! We have sizes small to 3XL, printed on a super soft blue shirt. They’re only $20, and we’ll throw in one of our old shop tees for free! (Sizes are limited for the older black and gray tees.) We also have free comics left from Saturday’s Trick or Read event, so stop in and Trick or Treat Yo Self! Grab some candy too! We’re gearing up for the Tony Fleecs signing on Sunday, November 10th! Hi Comic Shop Friends! This month is packed full of goodness, so let’s get right to it! First, Late Nite Comics! Thursday the 17th from 8pm to midnight! And as a Halloween treat for you, we’re making all the dollar stock just 50 cents that night! And all back issues including the wall will be 50% off! Trick or Treat Yo Self! Second, Bumblebee! Saturday the 19th from 11am to 1pm you can stop out for a free photo op with Bumblebee! We’ll have free copies of Transformers #1 and free prints with retro and modern Bumblebee to hand out! The artist, Erin Caruso who does @supergrouphugs will be here to sign them! Get here early because if our Sonic event is anything to go by, this one will be big! (And Bumblebee has to transform back promptly at 1pm.) Third, Trick or Read! Saturday the 26th from 10 am to 4 pm put on a costume and trick or treat in the shop!
