The first ever TAKE YOUR KID TO THE COMIC SHOP DAY!     In the tradition of taking your kid to work with you, CNJ’s is having our first open house for our distinguished customers 12 and under!   You know you go to the comic shop every Wednesday, so why not bring the kids this week! In Celebration of Zoe’s first birthday she’ll be hanging out in the shop all day handing out freebies to all the kids! Avengers Vs. X-Men Party Details!! On Tuesday, April 3rd from 8pm to 10pm we’ll be having our early release party for this summer’s biggest event, Avengers VS X-men #1!  With Stories and art by Marvel’s best! Jason Aaron! Brian Bendis! Ed Brubaker! Matt Fraction! Jonathan Hickman! John Romita Jr.! Oliver Coipel! Adam Kubert! Copies of Issue #1 will be on sale at 8pm! A day early! We’ll have Regular covers, Blank Variant covers, and exclusive Team Party Variants for BOTH X-men AND Avengers! All At cover price!  We’ll also have other variants for sale along with a raffle to win the super rare Avengers VS. X-men Stegman Variant! It’s been confirmed today via press release that 6 of the New 52 titles from DC Comics will see their final issues this April to be replaced by 6 new titles. The initiative is being called “Wave 2” and will feature the re-emergence of some of the classic DC characters that were suspiciously absent from the initial launch of the New 52, notably the Justice Society in their new title, Earth 2. Titles that will be cancelled with their 8th and final issue are: BLACKHAWKS HAWK AND DOVE MEN OF WAR MISTER TERRIFIC O.M.A.C. STATIC SHOCK  To be replaced by: BATMAN INCORPORATED – Writer: Grant Morrison. Artist: Chris Burnham.
