Hey there, Carol and John’s Shoppers. First, I wanted to say thank you all to those who came out to our Winston World Sale this past weekend. I may have missed it myself, but I heard it was a big success from all the guys back here at the shop. Back issues aren’t the biggest reason I’m into the hobby, but I appreciate the excitement some of you get from filling in gaps in your collections, and I love hearing little stories about how much certain issues mean to you. Winston World is returning to CNJComics on March 4th to the 6th! What is Winston World? It’s really sort of an inside joke where we would piggy back on Wizard World’s social media when they first came to Cleveland, to draw people from the convention to our shop for a sale. Well, Wizard World is gone (to be replaced by Fan Expo at a later date.) but Winston World is still here! All weekend long you’ll get 50% off back issues, as well as 10% off everything else in the shop. (including supplies, which are ever so difficult to keep in stock right now.) Greetings Carol and John’s Comic Shoppers! It’s a new month which means the monthly cycle of comics resets. All is right in the world… the world of comics that is at least. This weekend is our big Winston World sale (more on that later) and we’ve got a GREAT week of new comics to celebrate the occasion. DC especially has a big week this week as they prepare for the new Batman movie’s premiere in just a few short days. I’ll be out of town this weekend going to Niagara Falls, but I made sure my girlfriend knew that that didn’t mean she’d get to miss out on her boy Robert Pattinson on the big screen.
