Set between Gambit #5 and Uncanny X-Men #270, Gambit’s co-creator Chris Claremont teams with artist Robert Gill for an untold tale of what led Remy LeBeau to join the X-Men! Remy has just taken Ororo back to what’s left of the X-Men, and has headed back home to New Orleans. When he learns one of his friends, Elodie, has joined a high paying poker game, and that she keeps winning, he suspects something is amiss, mes amis. One of the players, Suzerain, seems to be setting Elodie up. Taking her out of the game puts Gambit in the crosshairs of a certain villain who always hits his mark! It’s a kinetic showdown! But why is Suzerain so interested in Remy? What were her plans for Elodie? Find out in this five-issue mini-series!

This comic feels like playing action figures with your friends and making up the most far-fetched scenarios, featuring Mecha Fin Fang Foom, the finest baker in Latveria, and a cuddly kaiju that could have come from your youngest sibling’s plushie collection! It’s goofy and it’s great, and Gerry Duggan and Javier Garron have created a continuity-shaking comic book that crushes the Multiverse!
This year’s Hellfire Gala has an added element – homicide! Sebastian Shaw has invited everyone to the Gala, with the intent of revealing his plan for mutant domination. (Speaking of domination… some of these costumes… whoa…) But it’s not just drinks and dancing, someone has been murdered, and it’s up to Wolverine and Jubilee to solve it! Every guest is a suspect, and no one is leaving until Logan sniffs out the killer in this collab story featuring all of the X-Men series’ creators! Godzilla invades SDCC in Godzilla Vs San Diego! The biggest thing to happen at ComicCon! This one-shot features three stories and an Artists’ Alley! Then, “Godzilla Goes to Comic Con” and a group of kaiju cosplayers are the only ones that can help, in Greg and Fake’s short. And last, Dan Jurgens and Margeaux Pepoy’s “Toy Time” finds an unknown action figure that may be the Con’s only hope when Godzilla rises!
