Just a reminder that this weekend is our ‘Not-At-Comicon’ sale from Thursday July 22nd to Sunday July 25th! All Back Issues are 50% off, everything else is 10% off, and we’ve got thousands of comics in the foyer at only $1.00 each!(.50 cents each for 100 or more!) Even if there’s no Comicon in San Diego right now you can still celebrate! We also have this year’s Free Comic Book Day lithograph in! Art by Jameson Campbell inspired by Uncanny X-Men #101! The best thing you can do to support Free Comic Book Day is to buy a lithograph for $5! We’re diligently getting ready for our ‘Not at Comicon’ Sale from Thursday July 22nd to Sunday July 25th, during what would have been San Diego Comicon. First up, we’re excited to annouce that even though there will be no San Diego Comicon this month, we will still have our “Not At Comicon” sale! From Thursday July 22nd to Sunday July 25th we’ll be giving 50% off all back issues, as well as 10% off everything else in the shop. We’ll also be filling up the foyer next to the shop with thousands of comics from our storage locker for only one dollar each. (50 cents each for 100 or more as always.) 50% off back issues will be a rare thing now that the pandemic is fading, so plan to take advantage when it happens! This Friday is (finally) the premiere of the Black Widow movie! I’ve got a free comic to give everyone who stops in starting that day, while supplies last, with a purchase.  Come check out our selection of Black Widow graphic novels too! Hello from Universal! I’m writing this one from the road so I’ll keep it quick! DC COMICS The big book this week is the $9.99 Green Arrow 80th Anniversary Special, full of short stories by some of Ollie’s most important creators.  Expect names like Grell, Lemire, and a really important story by Lenny O’Neil, Denny O’Neil’s son. Decades variant covers too, so be sure to research the one you want.  Like Neal Adams 1970’s and Gary Frank’s 1980’s. Here’s the featured new releases coming out this Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. MARVEL COMICS Well, it’s time to say goodbye to Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman’s Venom run, but not before the huge 200th issue comes out.  $9.99 with LOTS of covers, including the one pictured above by JOCK.
