Hey there, true believers! John D here to share with you some of the things we’ve got going this month! (and a few peaks next month as well!) First up, this upcoming Thursday, September 21st, is another installment of “Late-Nite Comics,” where we keep the shop open from 8 p.m. till midnight and load up with dollar stock from our storage locker. This one will be something special, featuring the return of the Marvels! The dollar stock will feature a majority of brand new Marvel Dollar Stock from collections we’ve recently purchased. Our goal is to have at least 80% brand new dollar stock out for your diving enjoyment. We also offer 50% off all back issues, and we’ve been putting a lot of new books out lately from the above-mentioned collections. Please come out! Hey Comic Shop Friends! Welcome to another exciting week of comics! Late Nite Comics is back this Thursday, the 17th, from 8 pm to midnight! It’s the one-year anniversary of Late Nite, so come out and celebrate this milestone with us! The table will be full of dollar stock, and back issues will be 50% off! Including the wall books! Also, since this is a special occasion, if you get 100 or more $1 books, they will be 50 cents each! John also brought in a ton of ties so we can be fancy, and there’s enough for everyone if you feel like dressing up! Come “tie” one on with us! Hi Comic Shop Friends! Next Thursday, the 17th, is Late Nite Comics, and John informed me that it is our 12th one! Come celebrate the one-year anniversary of Late Nite Comics from 8 pm to midnight! The traditional first-year anniversary gift is paper, so our gift to you is a table full of dollar books! Oh, hi there, Comic Shop Friends. How are you? We’re good. We have lots of cool stuff coming up in the next few months and first up… Late Nite Comics is back in August! Thursday, August 17th from 8 pm to midnight we’ll be bringing out the dollar books again. Maybe back issues will be on sale? We’ll see! Then in September, the writer of the new Incredible Hulk book, Phillip Kennedy Johnson, will be here for a signing on Saturday the 23rd from 4 pm to 6 pm. The second print of issue #1 is out this week, and we still have the first print variant covers in the shop, so pick one up! We will have more copies of issue #2 soon too! Happy Christmas in July, Comic Shop Friends! July Santa brought you… a table full of new comics! First, a huge thank you to everyone who came out last Friday and Saturday for Dave Michelinie’s events. Thanks to you we were able to donate $3500 to PurringPals! Dave posted this wonderful message. No big events in August, but our next signing will be September 23rd, with Phillip Kennedy Johnson, writer of the great new Incredible Hulk!
