Hello Comic Shop Friends! The guys had a great time at the Best of Cleveland last week! They gave out three long boxes of comics! Spreading that comic book love to our non-regular customers! Ketchup is worthy of wielding Mjolnir! But what’s he doing with that Infinity Gauntlet…? This Thursday! It’s Late Nite Comics! New dollar stock! This one is featuring Small Press dollar stock! At least 20 new long boxes of $1 small press and indie books! 50% off back issues! 8pm to midnight! Next Tuesday, the 21st, we’ll be set up at a Carol & John’s shop table at the 100th NEO-TACC meetup! We’ll all be bringing stuff to sell and we’re excited to finally get to go to a meetup! It’s 6pm to 9pm at the Strongsville Best Western, so stop out, say hi, and shop the toy and collectible vendors! Hi Comic Shop Boils and Ghouls! We’ve got some fun stuff happening the next few weeks! First, you probably saw John’s Facebook post, but we are stocked with a collection of Bowen statues! For the week, our usual back issue wall will be showcasing the busts and mini statues, and we’ve updated the case to feature them all. The Gallery statues that were in the case are now in their boxes above the graphic novel wall. If you get three or more of the Bowens, they’re 25% off! This Thursday, the 9th, we’ll be at the Great Lakes Science Center for the Best of Cleveland event! This is a ticketed event, but if you’re going, we’ll see you there! Welcome to another week of comics, Comic Shop Friends! This Saturday, the 27th! Come support your Local Comic Shop on Local Comic Shop Day! They even used a photo of our shop in a promotional post! To celebrate, we’ll have 50% off back issues in the shop all day! We’ve decided to give away the DC K.O. Local Comic Shop Day ashcans on Saturday! That’s right, stop in and pick up one of those for free! Hi there Comic Shop Friends! There are a couple fun things coming up this week! First, this Thursday the 18th it’s time for another Late Nite Comics! We’ll stay open ‘til midnight, and have 50% off back issues and a table full of dollar stock! 50 cents each for a hundred or more! Hello Comic Shop Friends! I’m back! Thanks to John for taking over the newsletter, and thanks to Ben, Kevin, John Shearer, Raf, John, and Zoe for covering while I was out. I’ve got a huge stack of comics to catch up on (All those Absolute titles!) and work to keep up with (Libraries need their comics too!), so this will be a quick update this week! First, two events coming up this week! We’ll be setting up at the West Side Market again on Sunday, September 14th, from 10am to 2pm, handing out free Superman comics to the masses in conjunction with the Cleveland Public Library and other local literacy groups!
