Events for September and October at CNJComics

Hey everyone, John here to go over some of the cool things we have going on over the next couple months! It’s enough that I dusted off my laptop to write this email! We’ve gotten in so many collections over the summer that September’s theme is going to be a “Summer’s End Purge.” Let’s begin with this month’s Late Nite Comics! On Thursday, September 19th from 8 pm to midnight, we’re hoping to have 30+ new long boxes of dollar stock, so close to a full new comic book table of books. WHO KNOWS WHAT’S IN THERE! We need to make room, so you’ll be digging through some unprocessed stuff. We’ll also have the usual 50% off back issues, and that will include the wall and everything on it. It’s also the day after my birthday, so come on up and have a drink. (I know I will.) Late Night Comics has been one of the best things we’ve come up with over the last few years. Andrea’s Halloween Picks for 10.30.2024

Happy Halloween Comic Shop Friends! And Happy 34th Anniversary to the shop! To celebrate, we have a brand-new shop T-shirt! Inspired by the Short Box King shirts the staff all have, this new design was created by Jameson Campbell, with the blue and orange colors being the exact official shop colors! We have sizes small to 3XL, printed on a super soft blue shirt. They’re only $20, and we’ll throw in one of our old shop tees for free! (Sizes are limited for the older black and gray tees.) We also have free comics left from Saturday’s Trick or Read event, so stop in and Trick or Treat Yo Self! Grab some candy too! We’re gearing up for the Tony Fleecs signing on Sunday, November 10th! We’re stocked up on Feral, Stray Dogs, and Army of Darkness Forever graphic novels, and still have the tour-exclusive Feral variants. They’re $25 and all of that goes directly to Tony and his tour-mate, Tone Rodriguez, to support their nationwide signing tour! Andrea’s “Absolute Wonder Woman is the Only Pick this Week” Picks for 10.23.2024

Hi Comic Shop Friends! Thanks to all of you who came out for “The Bee” event! Here’s a few pictures of the staff: And get your Halloween costumes ready, because we have one last event this month! This Saturday is Trick or Read! Come out from 10am to 4pm and Trick or Treat Yo Self to some free comics and candy! Free comics! You can pick up one of each of the seven titles if you’re in costume, and a couple titles if you aren’t. John will bring out some other freebies for the day too! Halloween candy! And just announced: Back Issues will be 50% off all day Saturday the 26th! If you weren’t able to make it to Late Nite Comics this month, here’s your chance to grab some half off back issues!
