Well, San Diego Comicon is upon us, and we can all expect a week of hunting for awful copies of the latest trailers of YouTube before then man takes them down. But the bright side of being stuck in Cleveland is our yearly NOT-AT-COMICON Sale! NOT-AT-COMICON From Thursday July 20th to Sunday July 23rd, dig through thousands of back issues at liquidation prices. The highlight of which is 50% off all back issues, and about 60,000 books priced at only $1.00 each. These are books from our storage locker, unprocessed collection, our back room inventory, and the recently acquired York Comics stock. All a buck, unless you buy in increment of 100 then the price goes down to 50 cents each. Be sure to allow yourself some time to dig dig dig. Not-At-Comicon Summer Sale at CNJComics 7-20 through 7-23

It’s time for one of our largest sales of the year, our annual ‘NOT-AT-COMICON’ Sale, timed to coincide with San Diego Comicon! (Just like we are.) This is one of two times in the year that we are able to pull all the comics out of our storage locker and back room and put them in the foyer for only $1.00 each. This includes unprocessed collections we have bought, including the remainder of York Comics inventory when they closed. It amounts to about 60,000 books toal at this point. To make things even better, this year when you buy books in increments of 100, the books are only 50 cents each. I.E. 100 books $50  105 books $55 dollars  200 books $100    220 books $120   etc… You have to buy in increments of 100 to get the bigger discount. (We figured this was way better than having to fill up an entire box to get a better rate.) We’ll also have 50% off all back issues in the shop. (Back issues means bagged and in the back issue bins.) All Americon, Thursday New Comics and Summer Sale

Just a quick info blast this week as we enjoy our 4th of July. QUICK UPDATE IMPORTANT: Due to circumstances with the greatest distributor in the world, Diamond Comics, new comics this week will not be available until Thursday! This is a national and not a local thing, no matter what you read. Check back on our Facebook page around 5pm on Wednesday for any updates on this matter. Boooooo. We’ll be at All AmeriCon  this weekend in Youngstown, with Ben and Jason there on Saturday, and John D and Jim on Sunday. Stop by our booth and say hi! New Releases for 6-14-2017

Summer is right around the corner and this week is a pretty good look into all the cool stuff that’s to come. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will be reuniting this summer with a big Justice League event and Batman is right in the middle of it, Dark Knights: Metal. This week one of two prequels is coming out that will be setting up that story. Dark Days: The Forge is written by Scott Snyder with art by Jim Lee, Andy Kubert and John Romita Jr. A Dark Multiverse is threatening Earth, and it just might be Batman’s fault. When we think about the epic nature of Snyder’s run on Batman we can’t help but get excited about his take on the whole League. You don’t have to wait till August 18th to get a look at the new Defenders on Netflix. The first issue of Marvel’s new ongoing series starts now. Since Brian Bendis created Jessica Jones and also gave us one of the greatest Daredevil runs ever, he was the perfect choice is helm this new project. Art...

Wonder Woman Day – 6-3-2017

This Saturday, June 3rd is Wonder Woman Day, celebrated in businesses off all sorts across the globe! Since we had a significant WW event last year in conjunction with Kent State University and the Cleveland Public Library, we decided to make this one pretty simple. The movie is holding at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes so we’re pretty excited that DC finally knocked one out of the park.   Stop by the shop this Saturday and we’ve got some pretty cool stuff for you, FREE with any purchase. Stuff like Wonder Woman Day Special Edition, a reprint of the first DC Rebirth issue.

New Releases for 5-24-2017

Here’s the featured new releases coming out this Wednesday, May 24th, as well as some other things to keep an eye out for. FEATURED RELEASES With the announcement this week that Tom Hardy will play Venom, this week’s big new book is Venom #150, a giant sized issue featuring the return of Eddie Brock as Venom! Marvel’s also rounded up some of Venom’s classic writers and artists to fill up the pages. (Two characters that always sell in the shop are Venom and Thanos.)
