Hi there, Comic Shop Friends! First, we’ll be closed this Thursday the 4th for the holiday, so get your books on Wednesday so you have something to read while you’re waiting on the grill. Second, Monday, July 8th Ben will be co-hosting the Midnight Rental Secret Screening at the Grog Shop! Yes, it’s on a Monday this month! Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm, only $10! Third, Thursday, July 18th is Late Nite Comics! 8pm to midnight! Featuring all new Small Press/Independent dollar stock! John says there will be some incredible books in there, so be there! We did put a full issue list of all the mini-series and tie-ins on the counter that we’re marking off as they come out, so you can take a look at what you’re missing. Hi Comic Shop Friends! How was your week? I spent my vacation reading all of Saga, so I’m finally caught up and ready for its return in July! Now I have to catch up on last week’s and this week’s books… John will be sending out a Free Comic Book Day thank you email soon, but I want to say thank you to everyone who came out as well. It was a great day, everything was super smooth, and I got an original ALF drawing from Luna, so I don’t know how next year will top that.
