Andrea’s Wonder-ful Picks for 09.20.2023

Hello there, Comic Shop Friends! First, some reminders about upcoming shop stuff, then on to this week’s new books! None of which matter as much as Wonder Woman #1! So first, this Thursday, the 21st, is Late Nite Comics from 8 pm to midnight! John Dudas and John Shearer have been going through the recent collections and have pulled out a bunch of new dollar stock for this month’s Late Nite! Back issues will be 50% off! Will the wall books be 50% off? John hasn’t said yet… Stop in and find out! Then, on Saturday the 23rd, from 4 pm to 6 pm, Phillip Kennedy Johnson will be in the shop for a signing! He also has a new book out this week, Green Lantern: War Journal, and we have Incredible Hulk, Alien, and Action Comics issues and trades from him as well. Get five items signed for free! Andrea’s Spine-Tingling Picks for 09.13.2023

Hi Comic Shop Friends! Here’s the scoop on what’s happening in the shop! Late Nite Comics is next Thursday, the 21st, from 8 pm to midnight. We’ve been going through some collections, so we’ve added to our dollar stock, and a bunch of new back issues are out. Come in and check out what’s new! Then, next Saturday, the 23rd, from 4 pm to 6 pm, Phillip Kennedy Johnson will be here signing. (Incredible Hulk #4 is out this week. Holy crap, this book is gooooood.) You can get three items signed for free! Thanks to the Cleveland Public Library! Hello Comic Shop Friends! I hope you enjoyed a long weekend and are ready for new comics! First, we have two new extensive collections, so you’ll notice long boxes of half-off graphic novels and a long box of comic book/superhero-related novels on the table! John has been working on pricing new vital issues, so you’ll see those on the wall, and we have fresh boxes of back problems, too! We’ll be processing more of these collections in the coming weeks, and there will be new back issues out frequently, so keep an eye out! It’s two weeks until Phillip Kennedy Johnson is here on the 23rd! It is a free signing; everyone can get three items signed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. that day. And just announced, the following day, Sunday, September 24th, we will be at the West Side Market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. handing out free Superman comics! September Events at CNJComics!

Hey there, true believers! John D here to share with you some of the things we’ve got going this month! (and a few peaks next month as well!) First up, this upcoming Thursday, September 21st, is another installment of “Late-Nite Comics,” where we keep the shop open from 8 p.m. till midnight and load up with dollar stock from our storage locker. This one will be something special, featuring the return of the Marvels! The dollar stock will feature a majority of brand new Marvel Dollar Stock from collections we’ve recently purchased. Our goal is to have at least 80% brand new dollar stock out for your diving enjoyment. We also offer 50% off all back issues, and we’ve been putting a lot of new books out lately from the above-mentioned collections. Please come out!
