Hello hello Comic Shop Friends! What a week we have for you! This Saturday and Sunday, we’re running a Winston World Sale! Somehow, we forgot about Winston World, which we usually run during FanExpo Cleveland, oops. Winter is over, we’re doing some spring cleaning, and you’re getting all the deals!  Stop in the shop on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th for our yearly March sale before the month ends! You’ll be able to get 50% off all back issues, including the wall. You’ll also be able to buy in-shop dollar stock for only 50 cents each with no qualifier. We won’t be bringing extra stock in, so it’s limited to what’s already in the store, but you never know what you’ll find in there! We’ll also give 50% off our already discounted graphic novel bins. To be clear, only the sale graphic novels, as we need to clear out a little space in there. We also need to clear out our storage locker a bit, so for the first time we’ll be offering $75 “blind bag” long boxes....

Remember that we’re changing the time slightly, so it’ll only go until 11pm, but that’s still late enough! Tons of dollar stock! If you buy 100 or more dollar comics, they’ll only be 50 cents each! 50% off all back issues! To help us celebrate Free Comic Book Day, David Michelinie will be here for a signing! On Thursday April 30th at 6pm we’re hosting a ticketed Q & A and signing. Tickets are $50 each, you’ll be able to have five things signed for free by Michelinie at the event, and any over five will be $10 each. All of the proceeds will go to his local cat rescue, Purring Pals. You’ll be able to pick up your Free Comic Book Day books that night as well. Spring is almost here, Comic Shop Friends! March is upon us, and so is a new week of comics! We had a very successful Late Nite Comics, so thank you to all of you who stopped out! We can’t release totals yet, but John said the donation of 20% of Thursday’s sales exceeded the goal! Zoe will be shaving her head on March 6th, and you can still donate until the 14th. Hi Comic Shop Friends! The boys are back in town! John, Ben, and Kevin have returned from the annual comic retailer convention, ComicsPro, and they’ve brought news and exclusives! We’ll have a bunch of promo comics and such out for sale on Wednesday, and stop in during Late Nite Comics on the 26th to talk to them about their weekend! ComicsPro is an event where shops can meet with creators, publishers, and distributors about upcoming releases and voice our concerns and questions about the industry. But it’s also about connecting with other comic shop owners and employees, learning, and sharing ideas.
