Just a quick info blast this week as we enjoy our 4th of July. QUICK UPDATE IMPORTANT: Due to circumstances with the greatest distributor in the world, Diamond Comics, new comics this week will not be available until Thursday! Summer is right around the corner and this week is a pretty good look into all the cool stuff that’s to come. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will be reuniting this summer with a big Justice League event and Batman is right in the middle of it, Dark Knights: Metal. This week one of two prequels is coming out that will be setting up that story. Dark Days: The Forge is written by Scott Snyder with art by Jim Lee, Andy Kubert and John Romita Jr. A Dark Multiverse is threatening Earth, and it just might be Batman’s fault. When we think about the epic nature of Snyder’s run on Batman we can’t help but get excited about his take on the whole League. You don’t have to wait till August 18th to get a look at the new Defenders on Netflix. The first issue of Marvel’s new ongoing series starts now. The countdown to Free Comic Book Day has begun and another of our traditions is the yearly FCBD VIP Raffle! It’s an AMAZING week at the comic shop, as the big two debut their new storylines on the same day! (we save all caps for when things are really important.) Yes, March is somehow Convention Season Cleveland, to the point where it’s going to dictate the flow of our weekly email! Coast to Coast In Store Comicon – Cleveland Concoction – Wizard World – Winston World. Fun comes in many packages this month. First up is Coast to Coast Comicon, a live broadcast that we’ll be showing in the shop tomorrow, Saturday March 4th, from noon until 9pm. Here’s the schedule for the day, so stop by the shop during a segment that’s interesting to you and watch it with like minded individuals.
