Hello Comic Shop Friends! Holy crap that Sonic Day event! John said we probably had about 300 people come through, Natalie Haines sold out of all her prints, and we sold out of all our Sonic the Hedgehog books! Dang! Thank you to all of you who came out! Pictures are up on our Facebook page if you want to check them out. And now we’re prepping for – Free Comic Book Day! It’s two weeks away! Saturday May 4th starting at 10am! John sent out an email with all the details, but here’s the rundown: Also in May: Late Nite Comics will be Thursday May 16th from 8pm to midnight! Word is, it’ll be new dollar stock! Wednesday May 15th is the Lenora’s Midnight Rental Secret Screening at the Grog Shop! Doors at 7, show at 8. Hi Comic Shop Friends! Three weeks until Free Comic Book Day! But before we get to that, here’s what’s happening the rest of April: First: This Thursday the 18th is Late Nite Comics! Open ‘til midnight! So, so, so many dollar books!  But, just announced! All dollar stock will be 50 cents each! Buy one, 50 cents! Buy two, 50 cents each! Buy 100, 50 cents each! Buy 500, 50 cents each! 50% off back issues! If you missed picking up any back issues during our sale last weekend, now’s your chance! Second: Saturday, April 20th is Sonic the Hedgehog Day! Happy post-eclipse Comic Shop Friends! Here’s what’s happening this month: This weekend is the Cleveland FanExpo! I’ll be there to see the Hobbits and represent the shop on Saturday, and you may see a few more of us from the shop around the con! But make sure to find time to stop in the shop because all weekend we’ll be having a sale! 50% off back issues AND 10% off everything else in the store! Friday the 12th through Sunday the 14th! Fill in your collections and stock up on supplies! Thursday the 18th is Late Nite Comics! 8pm to midnight! Over 60 long boxes of Marvel, DC, and Small Press dollar books! Oh, hello Comic Shop Friends. John just sent me a bunch of updates for April events, so here’s what’s coming up! FanExpo Cleveland is April 12, 13, and 14, so we’ll be running the Winston World sale those same days! This is the last year we’ll be calling it that, since Winston is no longer with us, and the con hasn’t been Wizard World for years now. Half off back issues all weekend! 10% off everything else! This is a great time to stock up on supplies, and fill in those back issues you’re missing! Late Nite Comics is Thursday, April 18th, 8pm to midnight! You know the drill by now! $1 books galore! Another chance to pick up some 50% off back issues! Then on Saturday, April 20th from noon to 2pm, it’s Sonic Day! John’s daughter, Luna, will be hosting her first event at the shop!
